Get your dunk face on! Hoops mode released!

The long awaited Dunk mode has finally come to Rocket League. A new dimension to the game in a totally new arena for us to play in. What more do we want?

Of course new Toppers and Antenna’s have been added to the game. But did you know that the Rocket Labs playlist has a new map added? Cosmic will be joining the ranks and sure looks like fun! The update is available as of now. So if you are reading this, download it!

Here’s a quick round up on things that have been added. For a full summary check

  • The “Hoops” 2v2 mode has been added as an unranked playlist, and is also available in Private Matches and Exhibition mode at any team size.
  • Exhibition and Private Match now have a “Game Mode” selector.  The mode you select determines which maps you can choose – for instance, “Hoops” can only be played on the “Dunk House” map.
  • During Overtime, the in-game UI clock now counts upwards to indicate how long the overtime has lasted
  • New “Cosmic” Arena has been added to the “Rocket Labs” playlist
  • After scoring in Free Play, there will no longer be a 3/2/1 countdown.

Keep in mind that the NBA flags pack will be available later today. So if you’re missing the NBA flags. Don’t worry. That’s coming!

‘Hoops’ announcement trailer is here!

The trailer we all have been waiting for. Psyonix also has a release date for us: April 26! So that’s just a couple of days away. Hyped yet?

Of course there will be new flags to collect from various games that have worked together with Psyonix. And last but not least, a NBA Flag pack will be purchasable on the 26th of April. Wear your favorite team flag! ($1.99 or regional equivalent)

April Update Preview – ‘Hoops’ and more!

The new Rocket League patch update that will come to PS4, XBOX One and Steam users will not only bring the 2vs2 Rocket League ‘Hoop’ mode to the casual playlist, more changes will be added with this update. Here’s a quick rundown!

Replay Quick Saving and Replay Naming!

Rocket League is listening once again (or have always) to their community and will bring two highly anticipated changes for saving and replay renaming to the game. Specially the Replay Quick Saving will be a feature that will be cherished by many!

Ball behavior changes

And not just on the Wasteland map. The devs noticed (thanks to the community) some add psychics ball behavior on various Rocket League maps in the game. In the late April patch they will address these issues. So no more odd balling!

Rocket Labs – Cosmic

Cosmic will join the three existing maps in the Rocket Labs playlist. For SARPBC veterans this will mean a trip down memory lane! How about that!

Rocket League ‘Hoops’ coming this April!

Rocket League is adding yet another fun experience to their ranks. Rocket League Hoops (or as we Europeans like to call it: Basketball) will be coming this April (i.e next month) to Rocket League!

So train your inner Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant or Steve Nash, because you are going to need it!

Brace yourselves, hoops are coming!

We don’t know yet if this is something that will be coming within Rocket Labs or that it is a whole new mode on it’s on (we think so). Will keep you informed about what Rocket League has planned with this. And when they think on releasing it. Although March Madness is a big hint towards it.
