The Rocket League blow out is here. But there is more! Here’s a glimpse shared by Corey Davis on what is to come to Rocket League post Autumn update!
[Reminder Steam Only for now] One of the things that Rocket League is working on, is a new ingame Tournament set up. You can view the image below to see the first glimpse of their work in progress! The aim is to have the beta up and running before the end of 2017. Mind you this is a steam only beta for now. Other platforms will follow!
[Decryptor and more]
Part of the Tournaments page is also the ability to unlock any crate in your inventory with a decryptor. This bypasses the regular key you have to buy to unlock a crate. This will not be in the autumn update right away but is still work in progress. Image detailed below to show how it will work!
Marky and Kuxir will be looking out for a new third, or already have one? We will soon know. Flipside thanks Greazymeister for his sportsmanship within the team. Read an excerpt below:
Greazymeister was a valuable player to the Rocket League team. He scored 29 goals in 35 games during the Rocket League Championship Series Season 2 Group Stage Qualifiers and had three assists in three different games. He will always be a member of the FlipSid3 Tactics family and we will miss him dearly. We wish him nothing but the best in whatever the future has in store for him. – Statement Flipside
Mock-It and Paschy are reunited in the new roster that the organization announced today!
According to Mockit-It, signing Paschy and allowing him to form his on team will only make him and the team stronger:

Forming his own team for season 3 gave Paschy the opportunity to learn what is needed to elevate his game to the next level. Mock-it has seen this growth are excited to reunite with the superstar, Mock-It CEO “Lucky” told Unikrn. – Mock-It
Paschy will be forming the new Mock-It team with Fairypeak and Freakii. Players that are well known in the community.
It’s going to be a weekend to remember. Rocket League is teaming up with Twitch and will be dropping very limited items!
And all you have to do is watch the RLCS over at twitch.tv/Rocketleague and link your PSN, XBOX or Steam account to Twitch over at this page: rewards.rocketleague.com.
Most important about this, is that there is no guarantee that you will get a drop. But the chances you’ll be getting one will only be higher if you continue to watch the stream during the weekend. There will be multiple drops this weekend. Starting this Friday. So link your accounts and watch the magic unfold! DO LOG IN on Twitch when the RLCS is playing!
And be sure to follow @RLCS and @RocketLeague on Twitter for the announcement for the Anniversary DLC that will be unveiled this weekend. It’s going to blow your minds away. And yes, that’s a fact.
Edit: About the ingame items that will drop: Along wheels, Toppers and a rare boost, rare RLCS decals for your Dominus, Breakout and Octane will also drop. So if you want to stand out ingame. Here’s your chance!
Cownose and Dan are parting on good terms. The synergy they had in the first week of RLCS simply wasn’t there anymore. On to new adventures!
It’s with a heavy heart I announce that Dan will be leaving our team. He came with the proposal himself and we will be splitting up on good terms. Reason for this twitlonger is because I want to thank him for being such a great guy and player over the last couple weeks. I don’t think anyone would have expected to see us in League Play, but we made it anyways and we have each other to thank for such a great accomplishment. Last two weeks however the synergy wasn’t really there anymore and the good vibe we had at the start of RLCS blew over.
Nonetheless I wish to thank him and wish him all the best in the future, don’t stop streaming and certainly don’t stop playing Rocket League.
Not kept promises and lack of communication between the org and the players led to the comeback of Cow Nose. What a time to be alive!
Niels Koek, the captain of Cownose (former Xedec), responded on Twitter on the matter. So did the org. Statements can be read down below:
We as a team have decided to part ways with Xedec Nation. This is because of a couple reasons. There are two main reasons behind this decision. One is the lack of communications between the owner of the organization and us the players. And second is the lack of agreement about our contracts on both sides.
I myself was confident that the problem would be resolved within reasonable time, but unfortunately it did not come to that. Therefore we decided to end our contracts completely and go on without Xedec Nation.
As many of you know, Xedec Nation (XN) rocket league parted ways from the actual @ organisation and this comes down to essentially two core reasons, which Nielkskoek already highlighted however not thoroughly, which is what I will do now because I think the rocket league community and XN fans deserve to know what is happening and I don’t want to deprive you of that right.
On February 21st, I announced the Rocket League line-up for Xedec Nation, which received massive support and I think restored a bit of faith in the organisation from their previous decision on a roster, and all was well and dandy. The boys had full faith in me that this would come through, and honestly, I had full faith that it would as well – however this is where it gets rather annoying.
Damian, or the CEO of Xedec Nation LLC, gave the green light – along with his business partner, to acquire a top tier Rocket League team and he would give them salaries as well as implement a bonus reward system for their placements and achievements within the professional scene. It was my job to manage this team, promote them on twitter and essentially ensure that everything was running smoothly and we were getting their name out there. There were times where I would message Damian at the start and get a response perhaps a day or two later, however as time moved on and as we got into March, myself along with his business partner Will and essentially the entire organisation was being left in the dark by Damian.
Unresponsive, non-verbal and essentially little to know management or leadership from the own CEO caused myself as well as the Rocket League team to feel rather uncomfortable about the signing of this team. The players had signed their end of the contracts and it was just resting on Damian to complete the forms and send them back, not so hard right? Well essentially he delayed and delayed and delayed and even now, after the due date for the first payment of the player salaries, he is unresponsive to me and probably has no idea that this rocket league line up has even parted ways with his organisation.
Don’t want to miss the EU Open Qualifiers? Here’s a list of players streaming their way to success!
