Chaos Run DLC coming this December!

WASTELAND returns to Rocket League for FREE this December, and it’s unlike any map yet released. Plus, new paid DLC! — Rocket League

Things are starting to shape when it comes to Rocket League. Not only will the first non traditional map Wasteland makes it debut, it’s also the first real sign of what the non traditional maps will look like. As Psyonix stated on the Playstation blog:

How is Wasteland different? It’s physically-wider than all other stadiums and has a completely-dissimilar Boost placement. The biggest difference, though, is that the ground itself is sloped around the entire perimeter of the arena, making for matches that feel very different to typical Rocket League contests. It’s the first of many “unusual” arena designs that we plan to introduce in the future, and they’re only going to get more interesting from here.

With the new upcoming CHAOS DLC  there is also room for 2 new cars, trophies and more. A small summary can be found here:

  • Two new Battle-Cars: Ripper and Grog
  • 12 new decals (six for each new Battle-Car)
  • Two new paint types (Camo and Sun-Damaged)
  • Two new wheels (Ripper and Grog)
  • Two new Rocket Trails (Sandstorm, Nuts and Bolts)
  • Three new Toppers (Boombox, Cow Skull, Mohawk)
  • Three new antennas (Bomb Pole, Radioactive, Retro Ball – Wasteland)
  • Five new Trophies

And last but not least Rocket League has also made a neat trailer for us to show off all the new goodies and of course the Wasteland map. Enjoy! And more news will follow when we approach the DLC ETA
